15 respite breaks
Take 15 children off our ever-growing waiting list and give them the opportunity to experience the Honeypot journey for 1 year.
January 2015 - December 2015
Charity information: The Honeypot Children's Charity
We currently have over 60 children on our waiting list and this number is steadily increasing.
If we are able to take 15 children off the current waiting list, it will ease the backlog of children awaiting our services and offer these 15 children a chance to experience a year of support.

Success will be receiving enough support to enable us to take 15 children off the waiting list
The project will allow 15 more children to experience support from Honeypot and to experience our services in 2015.
There is a risk that we are not able to provide 15 children with this opportunity therefore, they will not be informed of the project until completion.
Donors to this project will receive regular updates of the 15 children they have contributed to, as well as information in regards to the respite breaks for the children.

Honeypot House is set in seven acres of beautiful land on the edge of the New Forest. It can accommodate up to 12 children at any one time and represents a safe and playful environment where young carers aged 5-12 can have a break from adult-like responsibilities at home.
There are over 177,918 young carers in the UK between the ages of 5 and 12. Each year, we work with up to 1,000 children from Scotland, London, the South and South East of England. We aim to eventually extend our services to other areas of the UK. We must raise around £1million each year to provide our services, for which we receive no direct government funding.
Honeypot is unique in the UK as it provides a programme of long-term, personalised and consistent support to young carers.
