London Mayors' Walk 2014
On Sunday 27th April, The Mayor of the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea, Councillor Charles Williams, will be taking part in the London Mayors’ Walk from the Whittington Hospital, Highgate, to Mansion House in the City to raise money for the Supplementary Schools in Kensington and Chelsea.

Mayor Williams is raising money for the Supplementary Schools in Kensington and Chelsea. The Supplementary schools are run by community groups, mostly meeting on Saturdays. Currently, over 30 groups run supplementary schools in Kensington and Chelsea. By helping with maths, science and English, they can make a real difference to a child’s future.
The Mayors' Walk will bring in much needed funds to help support the Supplementary Schools, who provide vital educational support to local children.

The Supplementary Schools positively affect the educational opportunities of many local youths.
Weather is an uncontrollable factor for participation in the Mayors' Walk
Donors will be invited to show their support on the day of the walk, and will also be told of the final amount raised by the project.
