Honey is a 7-8 year old German Shepherd Dog who was rescued by GSRS from appalling conditions. Honey and her brother King were skinny, dirty and frightened. We took Honey to the vets and it was found she had a Hygroma on both front legs. Honey needs another operation at a cost of £5,000 can you help
Honeys Operation will take 1 day but cage rest of 6 weeks will be needed
German Shepherd Rescue South Ltd
Honey had two Hygromas on her front legs, she was operated on , the right hand leg healed fine. The left elbow has a big hole in it that gets infected very easily. She needs a specialist to operate on her which would mean taking a skin flap from behind her leg and pulling over the hole.
The operation would allow Honey to live out the rest of her life without pain.
To get enough funding for Honey to have an operation on her leg.
Activities» We have a GSRS Honey auction on facebook, we also have a store collection on the 5-6th April. We are also collecting items to raffle.
By keeping updates on Honey's progress
The operation will give Honey the chance of living her life without pain and continuous infections. We can demonstrate the success of this project by posting before and after photos of Honey , we can also post the vets report as to the outcome of her operation.
There is a risk that we cannot raise the funds to help Honey with her operation. We have dealt with this by asking volunteers to do store collections, donate items to auction. Honey cannot have her leg amputated because her right leg has already been operated on for Hygroma , so her right leg would not be able to take the extra weight and strain.
By weekly updates to their e-mail address. By facebook, and on our website.
