Golden Ambulance Appeal

We hope to raise £30,000 in order to purchase a 'Golden Ambulance'. Designed to a high specification, the vehicle will be for those confined to a wheelchair who value the opportunity to remain independent and get out and about.

    We are focusing our attention on loneliness and isolation, a situation that is becoming increasingly common amongst older people living within the local community.

    Designed to a high specification, the vehicle will be for those confined to a wheelchair who value the opportunity to remain independent and get out and about on day trips or into the local town.

    » 190 mile Coast to Coast Walk from St Bees to Robin Hoods Bay.

    That we are able to purchase a new vehicle by December 2014

    To avoid isolation and loneliness for wheelchair bound people.

    We have ensured that there will be plenty of fundraising over 2014 in order that we are able to raise the funds required.

    We currently have a fleet of vehicles that currently provide Residents and Tenants with Day Outings and local trips to the pub or into town for shopping. The new vehicle will purely cater for those that are wheelchair bound.
