Need
Need
There are children all around the UK who aren't engaging in education because they are affected by personal struggles such as grief, bullying or family breakdown and we can't reach them without further funding.
Solution
Our appeal will raise funds for sixty-five new centres across the UK to reach thousands more struggling and hurting children.

Aims

Activities
» Asking supporters to become regular givers- what we call Hope Givers- through our mail outs, e-shots and through personal calls.
What success will look like
We aim to see sixty five new centres open up over the course of 2014!

Impact
Impact
Every centre that we open will be reconnecting struggling and hurting children with their education and their future. We will be preventing potential school exclusions or truancy and intervening before their behaviour perpetuates and has lasting consequences on their future.
Stories of the children we have helped will feature in our media.Risk
If the total amount is not raised, then further funding for the project will be saught in 2014.
Reporting
Donors will be sent updates on the growth of our centres and the impact they are making.

Background
Location
The centres will be set up through churches all across the UK who are looking to work with their local schools.
Beneficiaries
The kind of children that Early Intervention will benefit are those whose life circumstances have affected their learning, who are hurting, unmotivated or angry. Many of these children will come from marginalised communities and may suffer from Special Educational Needs.

Why Us?
Why Us?
Our Early Intervention programme works through local churches and volunteers, meaning that we can reach a huge amount of children and make a massive difference at a small cost. The children, families and schools that will benefit from this programme would not otherwise been able to afford the extra support.
