Re-building the Chesterfield & North Derbyshire Branch Animal Centre

The old facilities at the RSPCA Chesterfield & North Derbyshire Branch Animal Centre, located in Chesterfield, Derbyshire need replacing urgently. The facilities at the Centre were built in the pre 1960’s and were therefore quiet old when acquired by the Branch, thanks to a legacy. The animal accommodation now falls well below current RSPCA welfare standards.

The branch is fortunate enough to have the land, on our current site, to locate the new Animal Centre on whilst still continuing to operate the old facilities.
The puppy block, which will cost in excess of 268,000, is a priority due to the current living quarters being totally inadequate; this will enable us to provide the enrichments of life that these little pups deserve.
New facilities will improve dramatically all living conditions for the resident pups, dogs, kittens and cats and all the other small domestic animals and wildlife that come through our doors; enabling more efficient practices for the staff who care for the animals, and increase the throughput of unwanted pets into new loving homes.
With your support, the victims of animal cruelty and unwanted pets have a better chance of receiving the kindness and care they deserve.

All our life saving work has to be paid for by individuals’ donations, and that is why we need the backing of every single animal lover, wherever they may be.
We really need the help of all animal lovers like you.
