Make a Difference Campaign
Every patient undergoing intensive chemotherapy and stem cell or bone marrow transplant for leukaemia should have the opportunity to see a clinical psychologist. Our Make a Difference Campaign is to raise funds to provide clinical psychology time for our patients. We need to raise £500k in total.

Anyone having to go through a stem cell or bone marrow transplant should have the opportunity to see a clinical psychologist. The procedure is not easy to cope with and patients and their families need help and advice. This does not happen in Gloucestershire at the moment due to lack of availability.
By raising funds to provide two full time clinical psychologists - one at Cheltenham General Hospital and one at Gloucestershire Royal Hospital
To raise sufficient funds to employ at least one full time clinical psychologist
Activities» To encourage local businesses and schools to hold a Rainbow Day for LINC - a day where bright colours are worn and a donation made.
» Various Fundraising events ranging from sponsored cycle ride, triathlon, celebrity dinner, loose change collections
By employing a full time clinical psychologist
Many patients do not get to see a clinical psychologist at the moment. They would dearly love to. Anything that can help them through this difficult time would be an amazing achievement.
The Gloucestershire NHS Foundation Trust have asked that we raise sufficient funds to guarantee a full time salary for 5 years before we employ anyone. With on costs this means £250K for each full time psychologist.
By keeping them up to date with regular emails, newsletters and on the website
