  • Need

    Need

Our 24 years experience of working with the Irish in London has enabled us to identify the need for a targeted cancer care project.

In our experience fear inhibits action being taken when symptoms first arise. People are not aware of cancer screenings available to them and fatally miss the vital signs.

We also have alot of contact with cancer carers who are in dire need of support and respite.

    Solution

Rid the Irish Community of the fear of cancer and lack of awareness that prohibits them from visiting their GP for screenings. This can lead to early detection which ultimately saves lives.
Support people of the Irish community that are struggling to cope on their own and with the everyday aspects their illness.
Our experience with housing and benefits advice will also enable us to support them on a wider scale.
