    Social exclusion through loneliness, lack of support by lay persons and professionals, including support and companionship for their family carers


    We have professional from South Somerset MIND and professional supervision provided by our local Rotary group, providing a friendly facility, not available elsewhere in mid rural Somerset.

    The Angel Community facility in Langport, a rural mid Somerset market town on the Somerset Levels, surrounded by eight dependant villages for services


    Our catchment area is over 3000 homes and 7000 people.
    We are just inside the top 50% of the Rural Multiple Deprivation indices.
    Langport is an old underdeveloped market town with little industry, with higher than average retired population.
