Rainbows support for children suffering loss

Rainbows supports children to express their feelings of loss and grief when a parent dies or goes to prison. Some children also experience family breakdown or crisis and need a place to build their self-esteem and resilience. Dealing with these traumas early enables them to lead fulfilling lives.

  • Impact

Children teach their families how to grieve more healthily. The impact can be life-long and generational for these families. It is preventative work.

All staff go through DBS and safeguarding training to guarantee safety for our children. There is also a clear management structure for the work.

We can offer a written update on the progress of the project and quote anonymously from the feedback we receive.
