  • Need

The chronic lack of properly trained medical professionals in Africa

By funding willing and able African people achieve their dream of becoming nurses in Africa

  • Aims

    Aim 1

To sponsor nurse training in Sierra Leone

» Co-operation with the established St John of God training hospital in Lunsar

    What success will look like

91 Nurses graduated this March from the St John of God training hospital. £ of them were sponsored by Do Good Charity

  • Impact

We hope that ever more nurse students will be able to graduate because of our and the community's effort

The biggest risk for out project is not being able to raise enough money for all the applicants for sponsorship. There are usually around 40-50 applicants in Sierra Leone and around 20 in Malawi for the 2013 intake. However we are unable to support all of them and therefore the risk is that the rest would not be able to begin their training.

We already have reports of nurses who have previously been sponsored in our website at
