For some time now we have been struggling getting most of our students to church. They have to change public transport at least twice in order to get to church. Their commitment to worship with us is compelling us to source for funds to purchase a fairly used Minibus. For the children as well.
It is continuous
Charity information: RCCG The Potter's House Parish Edinburgh
The Minibus project will help solve the problem of getting our student member to and from church. It will also solve the problem of taking the children our as a group during their fun day outings. It will also solve the problem of helping get some of our members who find it difficult sometimes to even buy a bus ticket to come to church on a Sunday morning.
Once we can purchase the Minibus, the problem of getting from one place to another conveniently will be solved.
The aim is to be able to provide transport for as many that will require it at every point in time.
Activities» Publish the need on the church newsletter and also publish it here on the BigGive website.
Purchasing the Minibus and using it to help get our students in Heriot Watt and beyond down to church will be a sure sign of success of our aims.
In the long run, the Minibus will make getting to church on a Sunday more comfortable and exciting for the students. The children especially will always look forward to their fun day outings. The less fortunate in the church will not worry so much about getting to church when there is no money as they are confident that the Minibus will sure pass by to pick them up on a Sunday morning.
We do not anticipate any risks affecting the project.

The Minibus project is located in our local church in the Craigmillar area of Edinburgh.
Students; children; less privileged in the local church and the local community we serve and any other organisation within our local community that might require the use of the Minibus from time to time.
As a group, we have severally volunteered our cars to transport our students; to help one or two people get to a specific destination; get our children and their friends in the community to fun day outings.
These and more make RCCG The Potter's House Edinburgh best placed to carry out this Minibus Project.
