Activities» A series of immersive 2 day workshops with social care charity PSS.
Through evaluation from partners. Following a pilot scheme, patients and service users commented that their levels of anxiety were reduced.
BDC hopes to integrate its outreach work as one of its core values. Through sustained partnerships, BDC aims to become less reliant on public funding.
As the amount participants can be unpredictable, there can be a risk of events needing to be cancelled at short notice. This has not happened in the past.
We will publicise all events on our website, and can send information and images via email.

Those that will benefit from the project are those who may never have experienced contemporary craft in the past. Service users in PSS have barriers to inclusion, whether that be financial, social or otherwise. This project aims to allow access and inclusion.
Bluecoat Display Centre is the only contemporary craft gallery in Merseyside. BDC represents over 350 artists based both nationally and internationally, and has been established for over 50 years.
