  • Need

Homeless young people leaving the care system do not have the family support needed to live alone. We provide an in between step to living independently. Offer support, helping them back into education, teaching and giving them help when it is needed

49% of the prison population were once in care. We want to stop this terrible statistic. 16 - 21 year olds find it very difficult to rent properties. We allow them the extra time they need to grow up.

  • Aims

    Aim 1

To provide support and care for young people leaving the care system

» Corner stone house provides the environment for them to learn and grown into an independent adult

    What success will look like

Success will be when the young person finds work and moves into their own home.

  • Impact

The young people will have the education they deserve, we will help them find a job and eventually a home of their own. This means that there are less homeless young people. We also offer support for people who are on the waiting list with outreach projects

Young people who do not want to help themselves. We have spent time finding out more about them. Found a tutor for those who cannot read and write. Emotional support for those who need it. Rehabilitation for drink and drug problems.

We have a web site which is updated every week with activities.
