  • Need

    Ex military entrepreneurs may face a number of issues in seeking how to set up in business and the necessary investment:
    They are largely ‘first-time’ entrepreneurs;

    Much of the press coverage is as ‘charity cases’ rather than of their skills in driving commercial success;

    When assessing key personnel, the business community may misunderstand and not value experience gained in the Forces;

    Lack of a network may mean such personnel are unsure of how to go about seeking guidance

    Business workshops provide applicants with some of the key tools to start up and run their own business.
    Heropreneurs will run business workshops in 5 regional areas to cover the main factors someone starting a business will need to consider and helps individuals find solutions to issues, shortfalls and problems in their own plans. We do not charge for workshops and therefore seek to raise workshop preparation, training, administration and running costs.
