TWINKLE HOUSE Sparkle appeal
Help us raise funds to continue providing a free 1:1 sensory based support service to children and young people with Disabilities and Additional Needs and their families. Every year we need to raise around £50,000 to cover our running and premises costs, we desperately need your help :)
September 2015 - March 2020
TWINKLE HOUSE Ltd
Twinkle House has moved to much bigger premises and is in need of more funds to keep the Charity running and to provide its services and support to people with Disabilities and Additional Needs.
We need your help to raise at least £50,000 per year to help cover the costs of running our new centre. Some of this will be sought by us applying for grants and we are asking the public to help us raise as much as we can.
Having enough funds secured each year will enable us provide new services at very low cost to families that are meaningful and much needed by our clients. Give families a place that is dedicated to support and recreation for those they care for. This would give us an opportunity to improve the services we provide and help us in becoming more self sustainable, being less reliant on grant funding and be able to spend more time with families and service users.

Success will be measured by the amount we raise on a fundraising thermometer
Children and young people with Disabilities 0-19 will benefit from our support in a number of ways, here are some of the long term changes our help will make:
- better communication skills
- reduced stress, anxiety and depression
- less isolation for families
- improved sleep
- improved emotional resilience
- improved social skills
- more able to get needs met
- making and keeping friends :)
- reduced melt downs
- happier families
- greater ability to focus and stay on task
- Enjoying life
The risk is people don't help us raise the funds and we are not successful with grant applications and then have to close down altogether.
We will keep donors informed by posting information on our website, Facebook and regular newsletters.

Twinkle House has been open and delivering a front line support service for almost 11 years. During this time we have listened carefully to what service users have said they need and have ensured we provide just that. Our team are qualified and experienced in providing therapeutic interventions using specialist sensory equipment and environment.
We are dedicated to ensuring our support has a lasting impact and that service users feel safe, secure and supported when they come to our service.
