  • Need

The Hospice grounds require facilities for patients and their loved ones to walk together in attractive, calming and relaxing surroundings.

There are no visiting restrictions at the Hospice and the provision of a walk through the Hospice grounds will enable patients and their families to spend valuable time together, alone, or in memory of loved ones.

  • Impact

Improve our patient experience by creating a more comfortable and relaxed environment. Surveying families and patients that access these new Improved Public Spaces will also enable us to demonstrate the success in comparison to the older environment ...

Lack of donor uptake........ so how have we dealt with this risk?

We have sought advice from neighbouring hospices who have taken part in the "BIG GIVE" before. We did this to ensure we can learn from their experiences in terms of marketing the project. This has given us invaluable support in ensuring we have maximum impact throughout our local community ...

    Via quarterly news letters ...
Gauged via an appeal calculator on our website...
Communication updates via networking sites such as Facebook and Twitter...
