  • Need

We are growing at such a fast rate that we now need a dedicated person to run our charity. There is so much work to be done, projects in development, partnerships to be made, young people to work with. The demand has now put a strain on all our staff, none of whom are paid. We do not want our level of work to drop or have to turn young people away because we cannot accommodate them.

It will provide stability long term and enable us to fulfil our plans and strategies. We will be able to meet the demand.

  • Aims

    What success will look like

Success will be more projects in operation, and having the capacity to work with more young people.

  • Impact

We will be able to reach our targets, aims and fully implement our long term strategies

We may not get full funding to pay for a fixed 2 year full time post.

We will offer the post for a year only with possible extension

We will report through our website & annual reports

  • Background

We work across London in various boroughs. Our base is in Clapham, South London. There is a juxtaposition of middle class living in houses across from the lower class living on the estates. There is an obvious divide and the young people in the area don't mix together.

We are committed to working with all young people regardless of gender, ethnicity, ability or faith. The majority of our young people are of African, Mixed & Caribbean heritage and Asian. They are mostly from low-income single parent families. This is reflective of the areas we work in. We work with 13-19yrs. Approximately 5% of our participants on our projects are SEN. We also work with those who are NEET and in PRU’s

  • Why Us?

    Why Us?

Our team has over 20 yrs combined experience with young people (youth work, Teaching, Mentoring & Project management). We have a good track record of successful projects. We know our areas; we know young people, & how to tap into their 'worlds'. As products of the very environments we work in, we have a deep understanding & burning passion to see young people develop. We seek to do everything with a spirit of excellence.
