To provide a modern community hub on the present Mencap site in Northallerton that supports people with learning disabilities, their families and carers in a caring and sharing environment in which everyone is valued and plays an equal role.

The present building is very old and lacks the facilities we need to accommodate all those who seek to use it.

The present building is in a poor condition and needs to be replaced.

To replace the present and inadequate building with one that meets our needs.
Activities
» Develop a realistic plan for the new building.
» Achieve revised planning permission.
» Raise the funds necessary.
Success will be when we have the new building.

The new building will secure the future of the Northallerton and the Dales Mencap Society on its present site which it owns.
Risk
The only risk is not being able to raise the funds required. If necessary we would have to continue in our present building.

Through a newsletter, by letter, by email and by conventional letters of appreciation.
