Circus skills for home educated children
Circus skills enable children to find skills which can provide all kinds of creative solutions. Skills such as concentration, retention, and self-awareness, which can be transferred to a social setting and applied to more conventional learning particularly with children with special needs.
New Foundations H.E.
A large proportion of children with special needs fail to thrive in school settings and are consequently removed. They are then left with no support from the Local education authority financial, educational or theraputic. Parents then struggle to find ways to support special needs often with out financial resources of their own.
By providing circus skills for home educating children we are supporting children at the most vulnerable times in their lives. They are able to learn to socialise in a safe environment with children in a similar position while learning new skills that can be used in the wider world as they grow.

Activities» To provide circus skills for home educating children
Success will be...when children can be seen learning new skills, developing relationships and using their new skills to problem solve.
The project will increase the confidence and skill base of children who are some of the most vulnerable in our society. They will be able to go forward with new friendships, increase their learning, and improved concentration.
The risk is of not raising enough money to pay for the project. We are dealing with the risk by looking for funding streams that can continue the project past the fist year or part fund the first year.
Funders of this project will receive email reports detailing progress and results of the activities.
