Christmas Morale DVD
To compile a Christmas DVD of goodwill message from celebrities sent to all members of the Armed Forces serving overseas this Christmas that they have the support and admiration of the British public for their amazing service.
December 2012 - January 2013
Charity information: The British Forces Foundation
This Christmas there will be up to 23,000 members of Britain's soldiers, sailors and airmen and women serving overseas - away from family and friends at this very poignant time of year. From The Falklands to Afghanistan, many will be facing hugely challenging experiences. We want to remind them that they have the respect and support of the British public.
For the last two years The BFF has produced a DVD containing messages of goodwill from musicians, comedians, sports stars and members of the public to remind them of the support they have back home. Sent to all serving men and women overseas it is a powerful message of public support delivered at a key time. As an extra thank you the DVD is accompanied by a 'Free Drink' voucher which service personnel can exchange for a beer or coffee in pubs or coffee shops when they return home.
Create a Christmas DVD to be distributed to members of the armed forces overseas in December 2012.

What success will look like
Boosting the morale of the serving armed forces away from family and friends at Christmas.
Sustaining morale of serving soldiers, sailors and airmen and women by ensuring they know they have the support of the British public at a difficult time of year. Success will be demonstrated by the feedback we receive from those that have received the DVD.
1. Failure to deliver the DVD to serving personnel. We are working in partnership with another organisation for the third year running which has a history of success. Deliveries to war zones are notoriously difficult and it is accepted that a minority of deliveries may be delayed or not possible.
2. Not achieving the correct tone for the Christmas goodwill messages. The BFF has wide experience of morale messages to ensure this is a low risk.
The BFF will upload the DVD onto our website and encourage donors to view it online. We will also post frontline feedback on our website and via social media.
