Believe in Magic Holiday Home for poorly children
Believe in Magic hope to buy a fun filled and magical, adapted caravan by the beach for seriously and terminally ill children and their families. Having a break from hospital to have fun and make precious memories that will last a lifetime is so important, especially if time is short.
Believe In Magic
Helping children to have fun and enjoy a relaxing break with their families in a safe environment. Providing quality time for whole families, including siblings who often have to go through very difficult times when a family member is ill.
Some of our children may only have short lives so filling them with precious memories means families will be able to recall happy times rather than the pain of illness and the clinical locations of hospitals.
By providing an environment filled with fun. The location we have chosen is a 5* site with all amenities including two swimming pools, one with a hoist for children unable to walk. It is located by a beach with a wooden walkway for wheelchairs.
The caravan will be adapted to accommodate wheelchair access and also have an adapted shower room. We will also fill it with fun filled toys, games and items to ensure a fantastic stay for our children and their families
Provide adapted holiday accommodation for 9 months of the year for children and their families
Activities» We have a team of 20 running in The Great South Run Marathon. We also sell wristbands to more than 30 countries around the world
Success will be...purchasing the adapted caravan and providing fabulous holidays for our children and their families
The long term changes will be the health and welfare of the children who have wonderful holidays with their families.
It will also provide life long precious memories for families, especially important if they lose their child.
Siblings will also benefit from a relaxed and fun filled atmosphere away from all the stresses of day today life with a seriously or terminally ill child
The risks could be ir that the holiday home is not used sufficiently.
we have addressed this issue by speaking to our parents and asking them what Believe in Magic could do to make their lives easier or happier. The vast majority of respondents have said having a break is the most important for their children who are ill and their families

It also has a huge natural lagoon for watching wildlife and the most incredible sun rises and sunsets. There is much to do that is inclusive to all children
All seriously and terminally ill children in the whole of the UK
We are a charity that supports our children in any and every way we can. We offer them wonderful parties where they can meet other children that are poorly. We get to know our children really well and always keep in contact, sending birthday cards and balloons and get well cards and balloons when they are in hospital. We know how much they will benefit from a break together and how important precious memories are
