Advice for Undocumentedm Migrants
To support and advice vulnerable people especially undocumented migrants, refugees and asylum seekers are provided with the necessary information to integrate into the society or signposted to another agency for further assistance and supported. To support those who want to return home.

• 60% (200) of clients who come to us for advice on immigration are undocumented migrants.
• 10% (100) are failed asylum seekers and 87 people are on family reunion who needs support for integration.
The above figures are taken December 11 inventory of services users.
The Mayor of London publications estimates over 500,000 people have sought asylum of which most likely half of them have either failed in their applications or are still on the determination process. We want to support them.
A qualified Advice worker and supported by 2 volunteers will operate daily drop in service to support these type of clients. The centre will be open three days a weeks to enable them to come in and seek advice. The advice worker will operate confidential and quality information system and support those who are coming in for the support and assistance. We will be assisting those who need immigration support and others will be signposted to other agencies.
Provide a range of advice services for migrants and undocumented people.
Activities» Run immigration advice and case work and assistance people through the Border Agency determination process.
» Provide support and advice to those seeking housing by assisting them with their applications, referring them to private landlords and social housing.
» Welfare benefits advice to support their integration.
What success will look like
Success will be measured by keeping records of 500 people a year we will be supporting and assisting. The rate of success in helping their integration will be tracked and recorded.
The number of people supported to integrate and find employment through our tracking system will be the yardstick of our successes. People with long-term immigration problems and families suffer emotional and sometimes psychological problems. By assisting and enabling them to integrate into the society, the project will be contributing towards reduction in referrals to NHS provisions. It will improve the quality of the lives of those assisted. Families will be supported and integrated.
We may not get a qualified worker or takers for the services. There is someone who is qualified at present and providing this service on voluntary basis. Two others have also been trained who are prepared to work for the project. For takers, there is no problem, because we have more than 8 people a day asking for this type of services.
Through the following methods:
a) Quarterly reports to donors. b) Annual reports to donors c) Detail the results of the project in our website d) Use facebook and other social media to record achievements of the project. d) Run periodic events for donors and make presentations to them.

Will serve London wide.
Migrants, refugees, asylum seekers and undocumented migrants. Those on family reunion will also be assisted and supported. We aim to target people across the London boroughs, but majority will be coming from Southwark, Lambeth, Lewisham, Wandsworth, Tower Hamlets, Haringey and Hackney.
We have been providing advisory services targeting people from the black and minority communities especially Africans, refugees and asylum seekers for the past 27 years. It is through this experience and the work we have done with these types of clients that we are best placed to undertake the work. We want do develop and deliver and support these clients. In the past we have supported people to put in SET (O) applications and families applications which have turned positively.

Main advice worker. Will provide 3 days a week advice service to the clients and support their integration.
Manage the staff and volunteers and ensure that the project is running according to the specifications and also responsible for evaluation.
Admin and Finance. Responsible for the tracking and records of the project and the finances.
