  • Need

Belarusians have no health service, and low wages. They grow food in radioactive soil. We want to give them a better quality of life, and take the worry out of paying for the medication they can not afford. In some cases its buy food, or pay for vital medication. That is why so many children end up in orphanages.

We take clothes, shoes, bedding, towels, reading glasses in-fact anything we take for granted. These items are distributed to those who need. They then have money to provide the vital medication their children need. The problem will never be solved, but the more we supply, the more we help.

  • Aims

    Aim 1

Only one aim, to be able to fund at least two lorry's per year - £3500 each

» We hold monthly auctions, all proceeds go towards paying for the lorry
» We hold local Bingo's, all proceeds to towards paying for the lorry
» We do weekly market stalls, car boots, quiz nights, anything to raise the money

    What success will look like

Success will be...waving good bye as each lorry leaves on its 3000 mile road trip, and knowing each load will help approx 250 families

  • Impact

We will never know just how much change this will bring, as the problem will last more than a lifetime. We receive letters from families who tell us it has made a huge difference, but some of the people are just to ill to let us know, or die too young. But if a child has a Teddy Bear to cuddle at night, that for us is success

People forgetting the families in Belarus. Most people do not remember the Chernobyl disaster. WE SHOUT AS LOUD AS WE CAN AND HELP THEM REMEMBER
Not being able to fund a trip, as people are giving less to overseas charities. WE REMIND PEOPLE THAT THE FAMILIES IN BELARUS WERE INNOCENT, THE DISASTER WAS NOT EVEN IN THEIR COUNTRY

We will produce a monthly news letter by email, to every-body who funds this project. We will not waste money by sending pretty printed letters.. We can also be followed on Facebook.

  • Background

Belarus is a small country between Russian and Poland

The population of who benefits from these deliveries is unknown, but approx 250 families are helped, on average 1000 people. The people who receive our aid are extremely poor. Belarus received 70% of the fallout of the Chernobyl disaster.

  • Why Us?

    Why Us?

My husband and I started this Charity in 2007, after John was invited to take part in a Convoy to deliver aid. On his return he said we had to do more, the rest is history.
John travels with every Lorry, and watches where it is delivered. We can state we know where it is going, and we know it gets there.
