  • Need

To target deprived children as there is not enough holiday activities wtihin our area.
Ford, Pallion and Millfield are some of the most deprived areas of Sunderland; more than 90% of the families in these areas receive less than the low pay threshold. A city council survey stated that Pallion and Ford were in the top 5 of most deprived area There are no other holiday play schemes available in the area we cover and all the families surveyed 70% indicated that more leisure services were needed

Our project will give the children a chance to participate in extra circular activities given them the ability to attend leisure activities which are needed during the school holiday, our activities will be offered at a low cost helping low income and single parent familiies be able to afford for their children to attend

    What success will look like

Success will be...The summer campning trip has already proven to be a success for over 6 years, the abiltiy to sucure funding will help us continue the summer camping trips

  • Impact

Our success will be monitored by the amount of children we attract and by the evaulations we receive from the children and their parents. Four Seasons want to change what is offered to the local children and offer play provision in our area.
If our fund raising activities are unsuccessful the children of this area will suffer as a result of not been able to take part in any extra curricular activities.

Not having the funding to continue the projects, we are continuisly applying for funding to every funder we reach theur critria.

Another playscheme opening in the area, at present no other play provision is available in the area with four seasons, if this was to happen we hav strong relationships with our attenders to keep them on board.

We report bavk to donors with feedback forms, evaulations and photographs of the activities we have offered.

  • Why Us?

    Why Us?

Our chartiy is needed to offer the activities that we do as their is no other play provision in the area we cover. If our activities did not run the children of the area would not have the ability to attend extra ciricular activities due to the price of activites that their parents can not afford.
