GFEST - Gaywise FESTival
London's premier LGBT cross-arts festival, GFEST is a platform for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender (LGBT) and queer artists, organisations and venues to promote LGBT and queer arts. Organised by arts charity Wise Thoughts, GFEST features established alongside fresh or young LGBT & queer artists

Generating resources and profile to develop and present the work of vulnerable, young and talented LGBTQI artists so that they can access further opportunities in the mainstream arts and culture sector.
Presenting an annual showcase offers 'Equality in all walks of Life' option to the practitioners/ artists. We select and present the best possible work to a wider community, media and authorities in order to provide a benchmark to the sector. The celebration of work offers encouragement and skills building opportunities to the young talent on an annual basis.

Activities» In its sixth year the festival is seen as established mechanism to identify & promote young talent. We continue promotion of the artistic excellence.
Success: receiving 5000 wide & diverse audiences to attend GFEST in 2012.
Further progression: Artists getting future work opportunities, referrals and recommendations through promotions with sector market links.
We will continue to build the profile and opportunities for more numbers of young LGBTQI artists and their art works through the world class 'LGBTQI cross art festival for all' - in one of the cultural capitals of the world. Success will be defined as at last 20 young artists get further opportunities to enhance their careers from 2012 to 2015 each year.
A few artists not able to participate on the last moment (due to unforeseen issues) is addressed by replacement quick and best practice procedures from pool of community of artists.
Donors will receive email updates of the project ptrogress around key phases: Partnership agreement, selection / programme announcements, festival events invitations, post festival feedback and archival reports.

GFEST events are designed to reach to marginalised groups to have an access to established and recognised venues in London. Presents the most diverse and quality arts programme in London, recognised as one of the key cultural capitals of the world. (along with GFEST web presence)

Young LGBTQI artists can produce and present their work in the professional setting offering them the skills and future opportunities to work in London. Young LGBTQI people in London to gain greater participation in an event - first LGBT arts festival to be launched at the House of Commons and has widespread support from LGBT artists,
celebrities and politicians, including the Prime Minister and Mayor of London. GFEST provides a vital mechanism to bring LGBT arts to mainstream audiences.
Wise Thoughts works across the arts addressing social justice issues and the needs of the LGBT and Black, Asian & Minority Ethnic communities. Wise Thoughts has extensive experience of managing
large-scale arts events and has a solid track record of effective financial management offering excellent value for money.
