Expansion to our Intensive Care Unit
Our hospital offers the best health care available, patients have doubled in our intensive care unit in the past 5 years, we have risen to the challenge with no increase in space, but we are now at full capacity, this campaign will raise funds to provide enhanced medical equipment for the new unit.

The number of people being admitted to our intensive care unit has doubled in the last 5 years to 1000 a year so we are at capacity with only 16 beds.
We need to increase the number of beds by 12 to meet the expected demand.
To increase the number of beds in our intensive care unit.

What success will look like
By the numbers of patients we treat in our ICU unit.
This carefully designed expansion to our ICU, will allow us to treat our most sick patients in more comfortable surroundings with enhanced medical equipment. In addition it will allow for better conditions for staff and visitors.
Not being able to raise the funds to equip the new bed spaces. We have not dealt with this risk.

We are responsible for a population mainly in Surrey ,but also for West Sussex and Hampshire for cancer services. Some of who are often considered to be wealthy. However, there are areas of deprivation across these counties.
We are the main charity raising funds for enhanced medical equipment for the hospital.
