To be office based to be able to expand the telephone helpline with more volunteers; a drop in centre which will be available to anyone to come and meet for an informal chat if needed during difficult times.The difference this would make to our clients is that we would be more available to listen.

Charity information: Cancervive
The feeling of loneliness and despair that someone has knowing a friend or loved one has cancer, and not knowing how to cope during these difficult times, its good to have a listening ear to be their for you, and a so called `safety net`.
Cancervive is a charity established to address the needs of anyone who's family or friends are cancer sufferers, we are here to provide a support network based upon our own personal experience during these difficult times.
To keep and manage this charity and to help expand and make more people aware us.
Activities» We have an annual motorbike ride out

What success will look like
Success will be making more people aware and knowing that they have support for longer periods during the day and night.
This would be by more people being involved either helping or attending help groups, home visits and phone lines and covering more areas within the British Isles.
Not having enough funds to keep going and not moving ahead at the right speed.
By a quarterly newsletter with how the charity is progressing in raising its profile and funds and the number of telephone calls, home visits,support groups; and expanding to new areas.

We have a national telephone helpline that is based in West Sussex, support groups are based in and around a 50 mile radius of Brighton and also home visits cover this area.
Family, friends and work colleagues of the cancer patient.
The founder Paul Huggett has lost two wives through cancer, and from personal experience needed support from people who were in similar situations, but there was no support for family and friends when needed, he realised there was a need for people to be able to talk to someone who could understand and give feedback and support from their own personal exprience, but we realize there is no rule book.
