Evidence suggests that regular treatment can reduce school absenteeism by 25% and increase adult earnings by over 20%, and at a cost of less than 31 pence per child per year. The nutritional value of deworming cannot be stressed enough. The growth rate and weight gain of children who are regularly de-wormed is higher than who those who aren’t. Hence regular deworming is the best solution for many of the childhood illnesses.
