  • Need

As you will know, Team Oasis was established in 2003 with the aim of offering inclusive opportunities for children and young people of all abilities and circumstances to engage together in a variety of activities and projects. We believe that promoting activities that engage disadvantaged children/youngsters in exciting, adventurous activities with children/youngsters that might have a particular disability bares much universal fruit. Friendships blossom and mutual respect abounds.

Team Oasis now has approximately five hundred children attending each week. We deliver totally inclusive activities for fifty weeks each year. Our sessions prioritize participation for all. We have totally inclusive activities including 15 Football session, 5 Soccer Skills Sessions, Basketball, 42 Dance Classes including Ballet, Hip-hop, Street Jazz, Cheerleading, Tap, Free Dance, our own Dance Company (Dolce Vita), two Theatre Groups, Holidays, day trips, Youth Groups and lots lots more.

  • Aims

    Aim 1

To secure our forecast operating costs for the next three years.

» To promote our unique and totally inclusive work with over 500 local children and youngsters. Hopefully this will secure sufficient funding support.

    What success will look like

Success will be...securing the necessary funding support and maybe, for the first time, generating some reserves so as to ease our anxiety.

  • Impact

Team Oasis is dynamic and effective delivering a multitude of activities to thousands of children and young people every year. We continue to increase the number of children attending even through these very tough financial circumstances and with major financial constraints on our Charity. Should we achieve a situation whereby our Charity has modest financial reserves then the difference that this would make to the team would be immense.

The risk to this particular Big Idea would revolve around the affects on moral should we not achieve. Ours is a brilliant team but presently we do offer seven days of activities for a total salary costs across the charity of just £14,000.00

Donors will be invited to visit and will receive reports through whichever communication medium they prefer.
