Safe Houses Transport
To finance 7 seater cars (x2) for transporting young people who are in the Safe Houses.
Charity information: City Hearts
The problem is no safe and convenient transportation available for staff to adequately support those in the City Hearts Safe Houses.
Having x2 large cars will solve the problem because project workers will be able to safely transport service users around the area they are currently in, to health appointments, court appearances, police interviews as well as transport to and from other cities and airports.
Aim is to provide safe, reliable vehicles for staff to transport victims of human trafficking.

What success will look like
Success will be proved in the quality of service provision and the safety felt by the service users.
Long term this will enable the project to help and support more victims of human trafficking. Also this gives more flexibility within City Hearts and other agencies we work with as service users can more easily be moved to other locations when necessary and accessibility to interviews and other important appointments will be a lot easier for everyone involved.
Ongoing running costs of the vehicles. We have dealt with this risk by ensuring all costs are adequately covered in the budget and that all drivers are fully comprehensively insured in the event of an accident.
Quarterly E newsletter will give updates on the progress of the Safe Houses.

Loactions for the Safe Houses are secure locations - they are in South Yorkshire and Merseyside.
Those benefitting from the project are:
1. young men and women rescued from trafficking for the purposes of sexual or labour exploitation and/or domestic servitude.
2. the staff working in City Hearts.
City Hearts is already running Safe Houses for victims of trafficking. We are best placed to receive funding for transport because it will enhance the work that we do and enable us to help more young people rescued from trafficking.
