Refurbishment of Outside Skate ramps
After 6 succesful years the outside ramps are in need of refurbishment. Funds are required to purchase materials to enable volunteers to refurbish the ramps. Facilities will then continue to be available for the 900 plus young people who are members of the Legacy XS Centre.

The outside ramps need refurbishment to enable BMX riders, skate boarders, inline skaters and mini-scooter riders to continue to use the ramps.
The purchase of materials will enable volunteer to refurbish the ramps. The use of the ramps will engage the 900 plus young people who use the Centre and continue to reduce youth nuisance in the area.

What success will look like
Success will be the completion of the refurbishment of the ramps to enable the users to continue their sporting activities.
The continued reduction in youth nuisance in the area which is measured by the local police. The level of membership of the Centre will demonstrate the success of the project.
In sufficient funds could be an issue. Continued fund raising appeals will be made until all the necessary funds are received.
Progress will be reported ont he Centre website.

Legacy XS Community Youth Centre & Skatepark is situated at the edge of Richmond Park, Richmond Avenue, Benfleet, Essex SS7 4DD
The 900 plus members of the Centre and local residents will benefit. When the Centre opened the local police reported a reduction of one third in youth nuisance.
We have 6 years experience of running the Centre and Skatepark. Refurbishment of the internal skate park ramps has been successfully carried out by volunteers.
