develop and fully realise their creative potential and talents within a challenging back drop of limited opportunities and serious financial cuts to arts provision, improved fitness and well being of young people, creating role models for the future and nurturing a new generation of dancers and performers
Lack of revenue and project funding support is always a risk in the current climate. The Byre has approached a series of grant making bodies to assist with this initiative and feel that this type of youth focused programme will also win the support of the wider public as The Byre actively nurtures and develops young people through our work and for which the theatre enjoys an established track record.
The Byre will invite donors to follow the growth of the groups and share in their success through live performance, digital footage, and evaluation and feedback from the participants ad project artists.
