  • Need

Insufficient amenities available to deal with emergency situations in this rural location. Current amenities are only available for 3 hours per day.

We aim to remedy this by providing an Accident and Emergency Service which local inhabitants can call on outside of normal hours.

  • Aims

    Aim 1

To provide an accident and emergency service for the people living in Chakswari (AJK)

» To supply emergency medication and first aid equipment
» Provide training for full time on call emergency medical technician
» To pay for a standby ambulance which can be deployed at short notice.

    What success will look like

Success will be the complete provision of the medication and first aid equipment required every month along with providing an emergency medical technician and a standby amulance

  • Impact

We can deliver these changes in 6 months. The success will be demonstrated by the uptake of the service by local beneficiaries.

Medicine and equipment costs rising during the project. This risk has been overcome by having a fixed price tariff for medication and equipment with one of the nation's biggest suppliers.

Current health center staff not engaging with our charity - we are working closely with current staff to ensure an effective and efficient service which caters for all.

We send out newsletters and update our website with photographs of progress on our projects. We also have regular fundraising events at which we begin with feeding back on where the money is being used.
