Tackling Child Malnutrition in Guatemala
Alongside our healthy kids campaign we want to ensure that our children are fed well so we provide them with two nutritious meals in school which for many of our children is the only food they eat all day.
If we didn't provide food our children would have to beg or work to earn enough to eat.
Education for the Children Foundation
Guatemala has the 4th highest rate of child malnutrition in the world and if we didn't feed our children in school they would have to beg or work to earn enough to eat and would not be in a position to take advantage of the education that is available to them through our Foundation.
If we can raise enough money to cover our food our annual food budget plus the cost of providing food to our most vulnerable families we can improve the nutrition of all of our children as well as the standard of the education they are being given.
