  • Need

Guildford Borough Council is redeveloping the town centre area and we are being evicted. We have found a suitable location, but the property is not 100% for our needs. The rental is double the amount we are currently paying and we have to do some necessary works in order that the premises are fit for our counselling purposes.

We need to create a warm, welcoming environment for our vulnerable survivors.
We need to create soundproofed counselling rooms so that they can unburden themselves to our dedicated counsellors.

  • Aims

    Aim 1

to create a warm, welcoming place that is soundproofed.

» Paint, hang curtains and blinds and soundproofing.

    What success will look like

To achieve a space that is both useable and healing.

  • Impact

The project will achieve an active space to be used by many survivors for years to come.

  • Background

Guildford is a very busy town and the premises are located close to the rail and bus stations. The majority of RASASC's clients come via public transport.

People within Surrey who are survivors of rape and sexual abuse will benefit from this project.
