Internal recycling will set a standard for other local businesses and highlight the environmental and monetary benefits recycling can have for the organisation; encouraging local businesses to donate their waste to The Cyrenians for responsible recycling. Success will be between 1-5 local businesses donating their waste weekly for recycling with continuing reviews of this service.
There is a risk that local businesses will continue to recycle with toher centres or charitable organisations. However, by ensuring the standard of service by utilising and managing internal recycling to begin with we can highlight problematic areas and resolve them.
Donors to this project will receive a quarterly e-mail report on the project which will detail the success in raising the profile of the project, the number of businesses committed to recycling through the organisation and all necessary updates and changes required to run the project successfully.
