Snehalaya- the home with love in India

Millions of children esp. those disabled are abandoned on the streets of India. 63 of such children have been rescued and are living a life with love, happiness and dignity. We will like to expand the facilities there to accommodate 200 such children there.

  • Need

To provide a life with love, happiness and dignity to the disabled and destitute children on streets of India with aims to make them independent with education and training.

We know that we can't provide for every child on streets of India but we try to provide for as many possible for us. There are 63 children in our Snehalaya - The Home with Love, at present enjoying normal childhood. We are hoping to make it a facility for 200 children if we can raise required funds to make it happen during next three years.

  • Aims

    Aim 1

To provide for disabled and destitute children on streets of India

» We run Snehalaya with facilities for living, education, vocational training, play, sports and health care, where these children live and enjoy.

    What success will look like

Real success will be when no children remain on streets but that is not possible as we know. We believe if we can provide for as many of such children as possible for us...

  • Impact

These children will enjoy normal childhood, will live a life with dignity and become independent with education, training and care they need in due course of time. As adults they will become responsible citizens and part of society fending for themselves and help others in need.

Lack of funding may restrict us from completing this project but then we believe we should carry on as much possible. We may not be able to make it for 200 children but we will make it for more than what we have at present.
However with our experiences so far, we know we will reach there in time may get bit late, but we shall succeed ultimately.
