Charity information: Message on the Move

Message on the Move logo
  • Need

The decline in real Biblical Christianity in the UK and of those who value and respect the Word of God (the Bible) and seek to live by its principles.

Message on the Move (YGOD?) will display posters that quote a relevant verse of the Bible in response to a question or fact.

In order that the travelling public can find out more each poster lists a number of ways that people can respond. These include website addresses, a free answerphone number and a 'text' option. Those who respond and leave contact details are sent a free copy of the 'More to Life' DVD.

  • Aims

    Aim 1

The project's aim is for people to find out more about Jesus Christ - how he can change their life.

» Display posters which carry a Scripture (Bible) verse and to follow up genuine enquiries as appropriate, usually by sending a free More to Life DVD.

    What success will look like

Success will be measured by the number of enquiries received and the outcome of these enquiries, which we hope will be lives changed by the Spirit of God.

  • Impact

The changes will bring about lives that are permanently changed for the better and which will themselves be agents for change in today's society.

The main risk is that people do not respond to the challenge of Scripture and thus remain unchanged.

There is a supplementary practical risk in that posters get damaged or defaced and therefore cannot be read.

We report to donors through the production of a printed Annual Report, newsletters mailed two or three times a year and through our websites.

  • Why Us?

    Why Us?

Because this is the objective that we were set up in 1883 to achieve. We have the experience and the connections to be able to achieve the aim.

There are few others doing this particular work on public transport.
