Mentor Training Plan
We are hoping to take on a number of volunteer mentors to expand our volunteer base and improve our service for our users. We are planning to have these Mentors fully trained and ready for placement in the new academic year starting in September.
Approximately 3 months
Charity information: Pioneers leading the way
The demand for our services is continually growing and although we have numerous people who are willing to volunteer we need to train them to the required standard.
The more volunteers we can train to become Mentors the more at-risk children we can help.
To supply more volunteer Mentors as required.
Activities» Actively train as many volunteers as possible.
What success will look like
Success will be...adding to our base of over 100 mentors
Hopefully under achieving and at-risk students will improve both academically and socially. We assess and monitor the childs progress throughout the year and obtain feedback from schools on a regular basis.
Funding is always a problem and we are constantly looking for new donors.
We send a report of our achievments to all donars annually but if donors want any information on our work on a more regular basis we are more than happy to oblige.
