Helping the homeless, and those at risk of homelessness, make a new life for themselves by supporting them on tenancy issues and providing lifeskills training, including debt management and basic literacy and numeracy classes.

We are trying to help our clients achieve a stable and productive way of life, so that they can secure and maintain affordable accommodation for themselves and their families.
By providing essential training on tenancy issues, debt management, lifeskills (including cookery, painting and decorating, gardening), job applications and basic literacy and numeracy.
To add literacy and numeracy classes to our existing training and support programmes.
Activities» Employ tutors, ideally 2 for 8 hours per week each.
What success will look like
Success will be measured via accreditation results and via monitoring the success of clients receiving the training in improving their future prospects.
We will see an increase in the number of our clients achieving long term accommodation.
We have assessed no risks to this project, as we already carry out other similar training projects.
We will supply updates on class numbers and results as requested by donors.

King's Lynn, West Norfolk
Our clients will benefit from the support they receive. The town and outlying areas will benefit from a reduction in rough sleeping and crime.
We are the only fully local charity offering this service in West Norfolk. We have active support from the Kings Lynn and West Norfolk Borough Council, and from Norfolk Police, who recognise the value to the community this service provides. We work closely weith the local housing agency, Freebridge Community Housing, and are helped in our training programmes by Norfolk Careers Guidance, Norfolk Credit Union and C.A.D.S.
