Fernheath Play Association is the only fully inclusive play and respite centre in Bournemouth.The minibus will replace our existing, ageing minibus and allow the children who attend the oppurtunity to explore the local area and allow futher access for the children with special educational needs.
The project will begin as soon as the funds are raised and will run for the life of the minibus.

Success will be more and more children accessing our trips out and participating in the local community.
Long term success will be the increase in children able to attend the provisions provided by the Playground. This will be demonstrated by membership levels and registers.
The maintenance of the bus could affect this project. We have dealt with this by maintaining a stringent fund for the maintenance and repair of the minibus.
Funders of this project will recieve a quarterly email detailing the ongoing and forthcoming activities, as well as necessary changes that have been made to the project.

The project is sited in West Howe, in the North West of Bournemouth, Dorset. The area is dominated by a housing estate comprised mostly of Council owned properties and Social Housing. In a recent survey by the Dorset Health Authority and Bournemouth Borough Council it was found to have one of the highest Jarman under privileged scored in Dorset.

This project will enable us to maintain our already excellent standards and provide more services to those with disabilities as well as our able bodied members.
