Charity information: The Small Charities Fundraiser Ltd

The Small Charities Fundraiser Ltd
  • Need

The chronic shortage of funds which is crippling small charities. They have no income from capital, diminished income from supporters and reduced prospects of support from local authorities and government.

The Great Tombola provides small charities with lifeline - a means to generate funds for themselves.

Any charityn registered with the Charity Commission or OSCR and turning over less than £25000 pa can apply to enter The Great Tombola. They are then given a page on the website. They encourage their supporters to log on and go to their own page where participants can buy tickets in favour of that specific charity.

Out of a £1 ticket sale, 60p goes directly to the chosen charity's bank account, 25p goes to the prize fund and 15p goes to administration.
