    This is the ultimate gait trainer. It has all the benefits of the supported treadmill and so much more. A driven robotic gait orthosis guides the patient’s legs on a treadmill offering a wide range of training possibilities

    It is more difficult to measure the preventative benefits of carrying out this regular exercise. There are over fifty years of published quality research papers advising how important a regular cardiovascular fitness programme is in maintaining a healthy lifestyle and helping to prevent common diseases such as coronary heart disease, DVT, Type II diabetes and bowel cancer, which are more prevalent following an SCI.
