250 Hours of Complementary Therapy
Complementary therapy is an extremely important and valued service at Treetops Hospice, however it is the only service for which we receive no statutory funding.The aim of this project is to raise the money to fund 250 hours of complementary therapy.

This project is aimed at solving the funding issues we face providing complementary therapy free of charge. We receive no statutory contributions for this service so have to rely soley on other fundraising activities in order to fund this facility.
Our project will solve the problem by allowing us to secure restricted funding for at least 250 hours worth of complementary therapy.
To secure funding for 250 hours of complementary threapy for adults with life limiting ilnesses.
Activities» We will raise the profile of this service throughout the local community in order to gain support for the project.
What success will look like
Success will be the delivery of 250 hours of complementary therapy to guests, carers and adults with life limitng ilnesses referred to this service in the future.
The main long term change this project will bring is to raise awareness of the need for funding for our complentary therapy service. The success of this project will be demonstrated by future restricted donations towards this service.

Our complementary therapy suites are located at Treetops Hospice in Risley, Derbyshire. If required, this service can also be accessed in people's homes.
Our services are available to adults with life limiting illnesses within our catchment area, which covers a populations of over 1 million people in South Derbyshire and South East Nottinghamshire. Anyone accessing complementary therapy during the period being funded by this project will be those who benefit.
We have 2 brand new complementary therapy suites at the hospice with an expert team of qualified therapists. This project is about building on an existing service, which is why we are best placed to carry it out.
