The Winter Warmth Fund

By giving those that receive the Government's £250 winter fuel allowance the chance to donate it to a fund which will provide support to voluntary and community groups working in all parts of Cumbria to help the most vulnerable during the winter months.

  • Impact

    Impact

    It is hoped that the Fund will continue to run each winter to fund community organisations to help vulnerable, elderly people in Cumbria during the cold, winter months by providing respite, comfort and relieving isolation.
    The success will be demonstrated through Fund audit and evaluation, feedback from grant recipients.
