Project Caravan 2011
Scottish Cancer Support sends cancer sufferers on respite holidays to our two existing static caravans based in Ayr and Berwick-on-Tweed. In 2010 we were over-subscribed by 100%. To meet demand we need to raise approx. £100,000 for two new caravans + disabled access for 2011.
Till the money is raised
Scottish Cancer Support
To meet the demand put upon our resources and not disappoint cancer sufferers which we were forced to do in 2010.
The addition of two caravans will at least alleviate the current demand experienced in 2010. It is likely that we will continue with this project beyond the immediate need for the additional accomodation as finance allows.
To send cancer sufferers on much needed holiday breaks.
Activities» Raise the required money to purchase the caravans.
Success will be...achieving our immediate goal in adding these caravans to meet demand.
Not to disappoint as single cancer sufferer or their families, by being able to accomodate all that apply in 2011
There are no risks.... we simply have to raise the cash needed.
Happy to keep all donors informed on our progress.
