January 2011 - December 2011

Charity information

  • Need

Serious squeeze on public spending means schools do not have any discretionary funding for exciting and innovative work with practising artists. We know what quite magic experiences artists can create with young people.

Funding will enable us to subsidise the artist work in schools bringing down the usual cost of an artist day from £300 to £50 - wel within the reach of most schools.

  • Aims

    Aim 1

Offer every Teignbridge schools artist days in 2011

» Contact all schools and offer the opportunity outlined

Success will be getting 100% of Teignbridge schools participating

  • Impact

Ensuring that the arts remain a vital force in schools and in the lives of young people. Also demonstrating to schools that by collaborating together they can further enhance the impact of their own artist days.
Inspiring teachers in schools to continue themselves to offer high quality and innovative creative arts opportunities for young people

There is a risk that not all schools will choose to engage. We shall use all possible means to encourage them to participate.

We report through our regular monthly newsletters that we will sign up every donor to receive
