Staffordshire Bull Terrier Rescue

Staffordshire Bull Terrier Rescue is entirely run by dedicated volunteers, ourselves dog owners. We take in unwanted dogs and we work very hard to find new loving homes for them. Many Staffordshire Bull Terriers that come into our care are badly neglected, some have Mange, many are underfed and often under socialised with other animals and people. Some are handed over to us by owners who are no longer able to care for their dogs, genuinely through no fault of their own and some dogs we get are cruelty cases.

All of us at Staffordshire Bull Terrier Rescue are entirely voluntary and without our team of dog loving, volunteers we would not be able to continue with our work. We have a daily struggle to find sufficient funds to pay for the necessary care for the dogs in our Rescue and many of our volunteers work very hard to find the necessary funds. We all work tirelessly to improve the lives of the dogs in our care.

Many of our volunteers also have jobs but still continue to work hard for the Rescue. The tasks for our volunteers are many: Fostering, Admin, Website, home checks, transportation and assessment. Many of our team also undertake sponsored fundraising activities as well.
