BCHA runs the LATCH project which find accommodation for young, homeless people in the London Borough of Bromley, aged between 16 and 25, by using spare rooms in ordinary, family homes.

  • Mission statement

    To continue to find accommodation for young, homeless people, aged 16-25, and find homes for them within ordinary, family homes. The LATCH staff carry out risk and needs assessments and draw up Individual Support Plans as part of their aim to assist their clients in finding employment, entering further education, acquiring life skills, and finally, moving on into permanent independent accommodation.

    • To continue recruiting new hosts suitable to home our clients.
    • To continue to help young, homeless people to find suitable accommodation and to assist in their move on to independent living.
